Berghalla Music Foundation was established for the purpose of fostering the growth of repertoire and performance opportunities for the saxophone. The intent is to bring the appearances of the saxophone as a featured instrument into the major concert venues around the world and widening the general public exposure to the great treasure of compositions written specifically for the saxophone. Berghalla Music Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The name Berghalla stems from a small village in Sweden, where the founder, Anders Lundegard, spend childhood summers at his grandparents cottage, bearing the same name, Berghalla.
